Balancing your personal practise and teaching several classes a week can be a challenging task. I definitely feel that a shorter more consistent practise is more beneficial in the end then a longer one only once a week.
Also keep in mind that you can incorporate yoga, even yoga asana, into different aspects of your daily routine. For example when you are out walking simple arm stretches or even lunges can be done, or choosing to sit on the floor in butterfly or another hip opener can be great.
I have also found that going to a class myself at least once a week can be very inspiring. Choose a teacher that you can learn from and stick with a schedule, giving yourself this time to rejuvenate.
Lastly fitting in your own personal practise may mean you need to shift something in your life around and make some new choices. Often getting up early, even when this is difficult, can provide the extra hour needed to get in a daily practise without distractions.

If I might add to the great ideas Anna has laid out here, I’d also suggest that yoga practice does not always need to be asana based. Other practices such as pranayama, mantra and meditation are relatively easy to fit into a life ‘on the go’, and can be practiced for a few focussed minutes in the car, at relatives’ homes, walking the dog, on lunch break, or even in the bathroom (which can be interesting...)
Some other specific ideas: A technique called ‘straight walking’ employs focussed walking between two set points, becoming a moving meditation. Setting an intention while doing repetitious chores (like washing dishes, vacuuming etc) can be a great way to practice karma yoga (yoga of service) and to observe the nature of the mind in action. Jnana yoga (yoga of wisdom and study) can be practiced by accessing web casts or books on cd to be listened to during a walking or driving commute. And there are many more variations…
To echo Anna’s comments, a huge component to creating space for yoga practice is in intention and subtle shifts in perceptions or choices.
I invite you to play with some of these ideas perhaps as a means to enrich and inform your asana practice.

Completely agreeing with Anna this reminds me of the need for Yoga which would be performed under guidance of some guru or yoga teacher (http://www.chopra.com/).
So the main objective and purpose can be achieved, sometimes due to restlessness one can avoid it for a day but under guru you can opt for that option.
