I grill a lot of my foods as it allows any fat and grease to drip off the meat. I also like to grill vegetables like asparagus and portabella mushrooms and squash. I think grilling is a pretty health way of cooking.
isn’t that grilling produce carcinogens out of charred meat surfaces? I used to love steaks and barbecues but when families and relatives start to develop cancers, I’ve become more cautious.
Let me share my diet with you .. and after consulting your Dr you may can give it a shot. Breakfast: Oatmeal with Honey and a glass of orange juice. Snack:Low fat yougurt. Lunch:Salad with tuna in roll or sandwich, or egg on a wholemeal muffin. Snack: Grapes/Apple/banana/watermellon. Dinner: Pasta/Meat with salad. This is my daily meal but i do have another set of alternatives for this ,so that I won’t get fed up of having to eat the same meal everyday. I suggest you make a plan of what you will eat for this week and so on.Determine your goal that you want to achieve first ( Ex. gaining weight or lowering your cholesterol etc.), then look for a diet meal that compliments your goal.
Sinclair, I love grilled vegetables as well. I like to grill portabella mushrooms and make a sandwich with whole wheat bread, tomatoes, sprouts, and even fresh sliced avocado. My father grows a lot of vegetables in his garden and we love to grill them up with a meal (squash and zucchini especially).

This is funny, because I will eat anything and like most anything. I’m a very adventurous eater. The more adventurous the better in my opinion. But put a cheese blitz on my plate and I will get that sickening throw-up reaction. LOL My husband couldn’t believe it when he saw that. He thought it was hilarious considering everything else I’ll eat. I also have a big aversion to coleslaw. Yuck!
