Family Nature and Yoga Adventure at the Tipi Camp

Located on pristine Kootenay Lake near Nelson, BC the Tipi Camp provides the perfect setting for joyous summer adventure including gentle hikes, canoeing, bonfires, outdoor living, craft making and beach combing. Access is by boat adding to the remote feeling of being at camp again.
Morning yoga sessions for the adults with afternoon sessions better suited to the whole family gives an opportunity for personal reflection, stretching out tired muscles and enjoying uninterrupted time to play. Arrival evening yoga class, 2 classes per day on the weekend and departure day class totaling 6 classes. There will be some child care amongst the group or bring your own helper along.
Freshly made delicious meals provide needed energy for daily activities and time together in an open air setting, while large tipis offer comfortable, simple and beautiful places to call home for the weekend. 4 large family style tipis available for individual groups or share one with your good friends. You can also opt to bring a tent as there are lovely spots in the forest just up from the beach.
Arrival time will be 4-6 pm on Friday August 1st with departure on the morning of August 4th when a week long yoga retreat begins providing an opportunity to stay on if needed or carry on your way to explore the spectacular West Kootenays for hikes, hot springs, fishing and much much more.
Package price per adult is $369 plus GST including all meals, boat transfer, accommodations, yoga classes and activities. Children ages 3-12 years are half price ($184.50 plus GST) and children under 3 years are FREE.
Past participants found the quiet, natural, beauty of the tipi camp very healing for their family connections providing undistracted fun for all with time everyone to be nourished.
